• The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The meals are exquisite; Ruth was previously employed as a chef at an international resort in the Muskoka area. Ruth and Gerd are European, speak three languages, and offer the European hospitality.
• Both Ruth and Gerd are great conversationalists and can discuss many different topics from history to geography of both Europe and North America. They previously operated a B&B in Kilarney and Sundridge, Ontario.
• In Thessalon you are never more than a block away from either the North Shore of Lake Huron or the Thessalon River. Thessalon is considered the jewel of the north with it’s many attractions and natural beauty.
• Local attractions include the magnificent scenery of the North Shore of Lake Huron, hiking, cycling, horseback riding, bird watching, mountain climbing, swimming and dining out. Thessalon is famous for the local gift and souvenir shops.
• Also available at North Shore B&B is a natural health clinic. Ruth offers a variety of natural health treatments, foot reflexology, aromatherapy, colon hydrotherapy, ion clense, exercise equipment, infrared sauna and hot tub.
