The bed and breakfasts represented by FOBBA guarantee you, as our guest, comfortable, clean and inspected host homes for your visit to Ontario.

Each member now proudly carries the "Inspected and Approved" label to remind viewers that every member has been inspected to ensure they meet the minimum requirements for membership.

Some members have chosen to voluntarily rate their properties and the appropriate star ratings will appear on their pages. To view the ratings criteria, click on the sidebar for ratings.

The ratings show as the universally recognized stars. At this time, the star rating is voluntary among members with about half of the members choosing to be rated.

Whether you're already residing in this wonderful province, or planning a trip soon, you'll find wonderful areas to explore, enjoy, discover and visit. The people are as varied as the scenery and what better way to experience the richness of the land than to stay in a bed and breakfast, hosted by those who believe in this great venue and celebrate the vastness of our country.

Travel in Ontario offers a wonderful variety of experiences. With gas prices soaring, you may want to consider getaways that are closer to home. Even travelling just a few hours can open your eyes to the wonders in your own backyard! Plan weekend getaways to see new sights and mid week vacations carry a bonus of quieter times in special places.

For those citizens travelling from the United States, at the present time, the only pieces of identification needed to enter Canada and return to the US are a birth certificate (proof of citizenship) and picture ID. As of January 1, 2007, those returning to the US by sea or air will require a valid passport. Of course, citizens of countries other than Canada or the US will require a passport to enter either country.

The owner operators of FOBBA bed and breakfasts are dedicated to making your visit the best experience you can have, from the rocky outcroppings of the north to the nurturing flat lands of the south where thriving wineries abound, the members offer hospitality second to none. You'll taste local produce, fresh jams, delicious baked goods, and mouth-watering specialties not to mention the unique flavour of each and every district in Ontario.

Your choice of establishment will vary as much as the individual owners. Some are heritage homes filled with antiques and collectibles; some are farms, often working, always full of wonder; some are urban homes offering insights into large metropolitan areas; some are cottages on still northern lakes where moose or bear could easily wander by.
